THE SALES PROCESS

WHAT WE DO

1. Conduct Market Summary and Prepare Aircraft for Sale:

  • Obtain recent sales history of comparable aircraft.
  • Evaluate market conditions to determine ask price based on comps.
  • Inspect aircraft and records, resolve any document discrepancies.
  • Create multi-channel, international marketing plan.

2. Respond to Offers and Finalize Purchase Price:

  • Field inquiries to identify serious buyers, and respond to letters of intent.
  • Schedule visual inspections along with aircraft records reviews.
  • Work with aviation counsel finalizing letters of intent and purchase agreement. Work with escrow to confirm deposit and documentation is in place.
  • Finalize pre-sale inspection timing, location, and terms.

3. Closing:

  • Confirm escrow documents are in place and ensure transaction is fully funded.
  • Ensure transfers of engine and/or parts programs.
  • Confirm proper transfer of title.

4. Post Closing Considerations:

  • Terminate all aircraft related services, subscriptions, and insurance policies.
  • Help coordinate 1031 exchange if applicable.
  • Coordinate timing of acquisition, and pilot and technician training.

THE ACQUISITION PROCESS

HOW WE DO IT

1. Discovery:

2. Present Aircraft Options and Market Updates:

  • Place deposit funds in escrow account and negotiate escrow fees.

3. Locate Plane and Finalize Price:

  • Award letters of Intent and respond to counter offers.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on purchase agreement.
  • Select pre-buy facility, define work scope, timeline, and terms.

4. Pre-Purchase Inspection:

  • Place technical rep onsite to supervise inspection.
  • Oversee repair of airworthy items.
  • Coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Negotiate final concessions.

5. Closing:

  • Select timing of closing.
  • Fully fund escrow, make transfer arrangements, bind insurance.
  • Finalize title arrangements.
  • Coordinate delivery and first flight instructions with tax consultant.

6. Entry into Service:

  • Obtain RSVM authority, hire and train crew members.
  • Establish hangar and fueling arrangements, warranty and parts programs.
  • Arrange subscriptions services, completions and upgrades, and title transfer.
